Children's data policy

The app is designed around UK GDPR and age-appropriate design principles. Child-facing screens avoid raw deficit language, comparisons with other children, advertising, and unnecessary data collection.

Child progress data is used only to build learning sessions, show parents progress, and generate optional weekly reports. Children see encouraging progress framing; parents see fuller learning detail.

A parent can remove a child profile and associated learning data from parent settings. Future retention jobs should automatically purge old attempt history according to the retention window in the project specification.
